Craft, Curate, Illuminate: Ending 2024 With A Sparkling Finale to the Festive Season

2024 has been an incredible year for us at Sol Luminaire®. From expanding our flagship AEON® catalogue with the Circuit.11 to hosting exclusive workshops with leading luminaire industry players like Mario Tsai and a-emotional light, the past 12 months have been a whirlwind of exciting developments. Not to mention, the launch of Rooms by Sol Luminaire®, which infused new energy into the Balestier enclave.

To close out this action-packed year, we hosted a festive bonanza across our various locations to celebrate with you. If you missed it, here’s a recap of what unfolded from 5 to 7 December.

At Galerie 5, we collaborated with Nyein Su, founder of Art Village, to showcase the works of seven talented artists from across the region. The exhibition featured a diverse array of art—from paintings to woodcuts and ceramics—all illuminated by AEON® luminaires like the Isa V3 and the aforementioned Circuit.11 track system.

The recessed silhouette of the Isa V3 ensured that the space around Galerie.5 is clutter-free, while the versatility and ultra-slim profile of the Circuit.11 balanced it out by providing leading visual lines to the artworks. P.S. The Circuit.11 will soon get a white addition soon, so keep your eyes peeled for the official announcement.

Designer lamps by our partners, including the Khmara from Makhno Studio, the Pillow Sconce by SkLO Studio, and pendant collections by llll, enhanced the sophistication and drama of the space.

Meanwhile, over at Rooms by Sol Luminaire®, we launched our first pop-up in collaboration with Allkin Singapore. The Festive Fair offered something for everyone: workshops by Soilboy, whimsical objects curated by The Monocot Shop, and freshly baked treats from Marymount Bakehouse.

Although the space was bathed in abundant daylight, the booths were accentuated by innovative lighting solutions. The Circuit.11 track lighting system, the Magnetite series of smoky and ombre lamps, and the Mulberry Silk luminaires from the Pulp series all added a warm, festive glow to the event.

And with that, our 2024 chapter comes to a close. But with 2025 looming on the horizon, we can’t wait to show you all what we have planned, and we think you’re going to love it.
