Discover The Magic Of Handmade Lighting With a-emotional light

Evoking emotion has always been at the forefront of a-emotional light ever since it was first founded in 1994 in the northern regions of Spain. In the nearly 3 decades since its first lamp was turned on, the lighting firm has carved out a niche in the lighting industry by creating handcrafted luminaires that are meant to stir up the deepest emotions within.

On the evening of the 27th, CEO Marcos Rioseco and Sales Manager Miguel Martínez will be at the workshop to give attendees a unique insight into a-emotional light’s creative process and how stainless steel mesh is one of the most integral design elements of their products.

For the uninitiated, a-emotional light was founded in Galicia in 1994 by Arturo Álvarez. Today, they have a team of designers led by Marcos and Miguel. Not only were they responsible for bringing to life their current catalogue of luminaires, but they’re also capable of creating custom lighting sculptures and bespoke lamps for discerning clients in both residential and commercial spaces.

Some of their signature luminaires that you might have seen in our spaces on Guillemard Road include the award-winning Fluo lamp, the Mytilus pendant lamp, and the Nevo collection of lamps. a-emotional light’s latest series of products will also be on full display. All their lamps share two unique characteristics: they’re handmade with innovative materials and were designed to evoke deep emotions.

The Nebra pendant lamp, for one, has a silhouette that is unlike any other in the company’s current offerings, but it still retains the signature stainless steel mesh. Its rectangular lampshade is meant to capture the sight of the summer sun rising through a veil of mist.

Then there is the Lea with a shape that takes after a four-pointed star. Designed by Rafa Alonso, he had the intention of creating a lamp that would make children feel like it was a magical place.

And not forgetting the Blossom, a table lamp is an object that opens up, but is also delicate and fleeting. Its asymmetrical form and ever-shifting hues engage the eye from every angle, revealing new weaves and patterns.

Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistry of a-emotional light and discover how their lighting can transform your space. Canapes, cheese platters, and drinks will be served throughout the event as the two helms of a-emotional light give live demonstrations of the company’s signature and newest luminaires. Join us at 399 Guillemard Road on June 27, 5-7 pm, for an unforgettable workshop. Spaces are limited, so be sure to RSVP here today to secure your spot and be part of this illuminating experience.
