Since 2017, our R&D team at Sol Luminaire® has taken a quietly progressive approach to lighting design. Nowhere is this more evident than in the AEON® series, a collection of fixtures that have not simply endured trends, but evolved through them.

Yet rather than rest on the success, we have continued to refine it. Now entering its version 2.5 iteration, the Halo is getting smaller — not in ambition, but in form. The diameter shrinks, the beam angle tightens, yet the wattage and brightness remain unchanged. Downsizing the aesthetic without compromising the performance is the direction we are moving in.

Beyond form, the AEON® series is expanding. Rust — a proprietary paint code exclusive to Sol Luminaire® — draws its identity from nature. It mirrors the oxidised tone of weathered metal, translating an outdoor patina into a finish that feels at home in considered interiors.
Then there is the question of colour temperature. 3000K has become a benchmark in thoughtful home lighting, but we recognise that not every homeowner wants to be limited to a single setting.
With AEON® luminaires, colour temperature is not confined to a single choice. If a fixed colour temperature is preferred, whether it is 3000K, 4000K, 6500K, or anywhere in between, each can be specified to suit the intended environment. For those who value flexibility, AEON® luminaires offer both Tunable White and Dim-to-Warm technologies. Tunable White allows the light to shift across a wider range—from warmer 2700K tones to cooler 6500K settings—while Dim-to-Warm gently transitions to a warmer glow as the light is dimmed, adapting naturally to different moods and tasks throughout the day.
What ties all of this together is something less visible but just as important: the engineering and R&D capacity behind each product. Our luminaires are built to last because of years of deliberate development that compounds quietly over time—much like good light itself.
