International Day of Light: New Architectural & Decorative Lights

The launch represents a new evolution of refined materials and new design collaborators, pushing the boundaries of form, material and wireless freedom. It seamlessly bridges the gap between minimalist technical fixtures and sustainable organic sculptures.

Architectural & Technical Breakthroughs

The technical side of the AEON® showcase introduces striking geometric experiments and downsized engineering marvels.

Leading the charge is Goli, a fixture drawn from the geometry of a traditional marble. Its unique spherical form comes with a convex lens, boasting a reduced Unified Glare Rating for long usage.

Another major debut is Eggy, which brings together the design languages of the Voli and Globula series. At its base, a transparent fluted funnel refracts light through its grooves, breaking the beam into a warm, glowing ring contained within the fitting itself.

The family includes Eggy Exposed, Eggy Track, and the dual-headed Eggy Twin, optional gold funnel detail included.

Minimising visual clutter is a core theme this year. The iconic Halo series returns remastered as the Halo V2.5 and Halo Trimless V2.5, elegantly downsized by 20% to fit minute spaces while preserving its signature space-softening tilt and rotate capabilities.

The presentation also highlights a 30mm miniature recessed point of light that creates a striking duality on the ceiling plane. It appears as 30MM Rust, which adds terracotta-toned dynamics to the ceiling, or via the 30MM Gypsum Kit, a raised plaster element that integrates the fitting smoothly into the architecture rather than treating it like a standard cutout hole.

Rounding out the technical innovation is the iKinetic Switch, a self-powered smart control system that operates with neither wires nor batteries. It offers freedom of placement alongside a curated palette of minimalist finishes, including a signature transparent casing that leaves nothing to hide.

Portable & Statement Design

For the first time, light moves with you through the introduction of the Boba Table Lamp, Sol Luminaire®’s inaugural portable, cordless lighting solution. Breaking away from fixed architecture, this rechargeable glowing orb features a sleek arching handle and adjustable brightness.

In stark contrast to the minimalist Boba orb, the AEON® family expands with the Perforated Boba. This pendant interprets the classic form through an industrial lens.

Spanish studio a-emotional light contributes two weightless suspend forms: Brétema and Baleira, which captures quiet precision and layered volumes through steel mesh.

From France, Market Set demonstrates that luxury is an exploration of raw craft and materials rather than cost, presenting the stacked amber glass layers of Sunset, the airy woven cane of Coquillage, and the elegant linen-and-wood pairings of Rivage.

Local innovation is celebrated through the Sonogo Pendant Lamp, a collaboration with lighting designer Sonogo. This piece translates 3D-printed geometry into a rhythmic, tiered pendant form that filters illumination into an intricate interplay of shadow and glow.

Danish heritage is represented by LYFA, balancing historical craftsmanship with clean architectural lines. Their additions include the textile-wrapped geometric elegance of the Futé series and the polished, rhythmic metallic tubes of the Pan collection.

For art and physics enthusiasts, contemporary design lab LightMass^ offers fluid, geometric wire sculptures that project dramatic, atmospheric shadows across large spaces.

Finally, our in-house series Pulp focuses on sustainability and organic textures. Handcrafted from organic waste, natural fibers, recycled pulp and mulberry silk, their collection comprising Paper.8, Mulberry Silk.11, and Mulberry Silk.15, celebrates irregular geometries and casts an earthy, beautifully muted luminescence.
