Every year on the 16th of May, we celebrate International Day of Light and look back at our timeline and milestones. Old and new products get refreshed in the boardroom and we share our thoughts beyond the marketing moments.

What makes these products still relevant, or beloved by you, for more than a decade? Scores of Singapore commercial and residential projects tell that story. While interiors and products traditionally move in trend-cycles, our R&D team takes a more deliberate approach. Our launch cycle is set to a rhythm that refuses to rush, like the anticipation that surrounds an annual reveal.
Time becomes our best friend, allowing us to understand product life cycles, run tried-and-tested experiments, and ensure each luminaire is engineered with precision and purpose. These designs are then evolved and launched based on timing, new technologies, and ideas built around you.

This is also why we have v2s and v3s of our most iconic products. We don't release entirely new designs for the sake of beating trends. We remaster—perfecting what already works with better technology and sharper intent.

This International Day of Light, we continue this philosophy of moving forward with designs that are human-first. An exciting lineup of new launches is happening in June. Our research this year stays rooted in the spaces you actually inhabit. Local homes continue to downsize to maximise real estate, and that constraint shapes everything we do. From compact silhouettes suited to smaller interiors, to performance output calibrated for the brightness and functionality each scenario demands, to design language that sits naturally in the context of stacked, built-up living.
Four new designs join the AEON® lineup. One is an evolution of a favourite. One reimagines a childhood form through precision optics. One merges two proven silhouettes into something entirely new. And one proves that even a mounting detail can be architecture.
Watch this space for the reveal this coming June.
