If you've seen the Wah!Banana office in their videos, you know it’s designed for high energy and fast-paced creativity.
But for Ling Yi, the CEO behind the household name, home is the exact opposite. Envisioned as a bright, airy "Boho Farmhouse," her personal space trades office practicality for the relaxing, earthy feel of a coastal resort. To ground the space, the couple made it a priority to retain the home's original wooden floors.
We sat down with Ling Yi to talk about her interior design journey, lighting choices, and how she brings this dreamy, clutter-free sanctuary to life.

Who is Ling Yi?
I’m Ling Yi, the CEO of Wah!Banana, a content house and a household name in Singapore.
Tell us more about your home.
My husband and I live in our Boho Farm Home that is airy and spacious, and it has a lot of soft natural light. It is a home that I have always dreamt of. Grounding, warm, welcoming and cluster-free.

We have the Voli® V2 in the house because I like my lighting to be consistent and subtle. Voli® V2 comes really handy. Not at all. I try my best to separate work and leisure. I’m quite different at work and at home. If you’ve seen my office—which is also lit by Sol luminaire®, by the way—you'll know it’s designed to be highly practical and busy, whereas my home is the complete opposite.
You have an eclectic taste for design and decor. Where did you source your furniture? How did Rezt & Relax help to build the vision?
We get most of our furniture from different local brands. I prefer to feel my furniture before getting it. Hence, no Taobao shopping. The colours of all the furniture at home complement our earthy and woody theme, which was done by Rezt & Relax. I also shared a lot of Pinterest pictures with our ID so that she had a rough idea of the kind of furniture we like while designing the rest of the space.

How does a night of hosting your loved ones look like?
It would be a dinner party. Me cooking in the kitchen and my husband serving drinks from our pantry.
