The HDB ceiling has always set its own terms — where clearance is tight, design options narrow and you've told us you want more range. Recessed downlights like the Halo V2 and Gypsum series have been our go-tos, now the offering extends to Goli and Eggy — made to retire the idea that design-forward lighting belongs only to homes with height to spare.
Both are surface-mounted luminaires, a new architectural silhouette from AEON® that sits proud of the ceiling rather than buried within it, no deep recess required.

Goli takes its cue from a marble: a spherical lens that behaves like a fisheye, its throw shifting and opening as you cross the room, optical and alive from every angle.
Goli's body is the shortest of its kind in Singapore, its depth compressed through close work with LED driver specialists with no loss of output — the sort of R&D that separates a considered object from a commodity one.

In homes where the ceiling presence is close and corners go unlit, light moves in both directions at once with Goli, down into the space and up across the ceiling itself. That dual throw reaches along tight ceiling lines, into the pockets of light a downlight miss.
Pictured Above: Eggy
Eggy takes the form of an opaque cylinder resolved by a fluted funnel at its base, refracting the beam into a warm halo held within the fitting itself. Being surface-mounted rather than recessed, Eggy sits on the ceiling as it is. Its beam sits wide and bright, less a single point of light than a spread that fills the space with its glow, and the funnel itself carries the interest further. Struck in Transparent, Gold and Smoke Grey, each finish catching each strike of light differently.

Think of them less as fixtures than as optics. As with a camera, the value lives in the lens — and here the lens is the whole idea, engineered to add dimension where a flat downlight only adds brightness.
And neither asks you to choose once and live with it. Both dim smoothly from bright to intimate-warm settings, while Goli and Eggy's adjustable heads tilt to place light exactly where it's wanted — accenting a wall, grazing a texture, moving with the room as its use changes.
Between them, Goli and Eggy proves a low ceiling was never a reason to settle for less design, just a different way in. Discover both collections at our galleries.
