Accumulation, as a concept, is explored by Pittsburgh-based artist, Philip M. Soucy through multidisciplinary creative experiments, particularly through the highly symbolic medium of clay. The complexities and accumulation of time and existence are reflected in both coiling techniques, as well as the unique composition of clay — akin to fingerprints or lines on a palm.
